Read my lips, no new instances...

Some confusion has surfed on the forums about what will be in patch 1.10. Caydiem has come out to set everyone straight, no new instances in 1.10! I guess someone confused the fact that a new tier (dubbed 0.5) armor set is being released in the next patch, so they assumed that meant a new place to farm for that new set.

What other 1.10 patch rumors are you guys hearing?

well i was assuming they would be going to 2.0 (with the burning crusade) not 1.10, cause thats like 1.1 with an extra zero.

I belive following obvious progression the next up date would be 2.0. 1.10 wouldn't be right because that last zero would be worthless so it would be read 1.1

Blizzard has been known to release patches in the form of 1.10, 1.11, 1.12...etc. Diablo followed this numbering for patches, so I would assumed WoW would as well.

Brad - if you're talking about patch numeration, I thought the same thing for awhile... But, it was once explained to me that software updates are not in decimal form, and thus 1.9 gives way to 1.10. The zero is worth something as there's been a 1.1 patch. If I'm not mistaken, the last major patch was 1.9.0, with minor patches being 1.9.1, 1.9.2, and so forth. a new release (say Burning Crusade) would push the numeration to 2.0.0.

Or, I'm totally misunderstanding you. :-)

Welcome to the 21st century, Brad! This is 'dot' version numbering. It is not decimal math. Ok then, enjoy your stay! ;-D

I'm just hoping my realm can withstand the rush as the war effort winds down. If Blizzard can optimize anything in 1.10, more power to them. And I hope my low level characters still have a way to make money when no one needs war effort supplies anymore. Heh.
