Breakfast Topic: Your Dream Gear

Ocelot Eyes in the WoW ladies LJ group has a dream-- and it is to dual wield Thekal and Arlokk's Grasps, two uber looking fist weapons that drop from the bosses in ZG. There's the gear we're all working towards right now on quests or drops-- and then there's the dream gear we all want.Sure, we'd all love to be walking around in Tier 3 (and for my little Gnome warrior, that's exactly what I would love to see him in), but for each one of us, there's probably some gear that just fits with what we want our characters to be. For my Shaman, it's the Tier 0 shoulders, the Pauldrons of Elements. Yeah, it'd be nice to have the Tier 1 shoulders (my guild is working through MC, and it's likely that I'll get them before long, to go with a few other Earthfury pieces I've already picked up), but the Elements, with those little hooky things, just seem like the perfect shoulders for my Shaman. Just seeing those on other characters was one of the reasons I rolled Shaman, and so even if I get better stuff, I just have to have them.
Likewise, on my Priest I'm already determined to jump the hoops for Benediction / Anathema-- it's a tough (and long) quest, but that's just so the right weapon for my Priest, especially since I plan to keep her shadow specced. And I sent my rogue on many, many more runs through Deadmines than I needed to, just because I wanted to have the Defias Leather set early on.
So spit it out-- what's your dream gear? What's that one piece or that one set of armor that you just have to have?

Right now I am trying to get my Lighforge gear for my paladin and have 5/8 of the gear. After that I am going to try the upgrade quest, as I have not seen may people wearing full Soulforge. What I really want and I'm sure alot of other paladins want is Judgement, but I am in a guild that isn't even trying to run BWL... It sucks trying to get into a good raiding guild to try and get some of that stuff, because it doesn't even matter how good of a player you are, it's if the snobs that recruit people are willing to let you in to their uber exclusive guild.

Oh yeah and the Avenger's battle gear is really nice as well, along with that 2 handed sword that has the huge cat's eye at the hilt is really nice. ( not sure what it is called though.)

I've got 8/8 shadowcraft on my rogue, I'd love to make that into full dark mantle some day.
Its not very original, but id love full dreadmist on my shadowpriest, just to see what it looks like in shadowform.
Finally my lock, its not very original, but I want full T3 on her, it looks so nice.

For 5 months all I wanted was Zin'rohk on my Hunter. At this point, I'm a majority of T2 (7/8), it dropped about a month ago and I lost the roll by 1 number (92-93 /cry), but the nice hunter who rolled higher let me have it :D
Zin'rohk + Dragonstalkers = Sexy.
P.S. I occasionally wear my full Defias set with Zin'Rohk, with the rest T2, it looks hot :) -- I only ran it twice to get Linen Cloth, 2nd time Defias BP dropped, and I bought the rest of the pieces from AH.

Currently working towards Tier 0.5 gear, but I sure would love the Tier 2 (Mage) set. I don't raid so it's unrealistic, but man that would be sweet. :D

Want Azuresong Mageblade on my lock. That might actually be possible. What will likely not be are the Mishundare headpiece from Nef and the gloves from Ebonroc simply because I doubt that there is enough time for us to progress that far before the expansion hits.

i just want a lvl 60 set =( only been playing for 2 months and my first char is at 49... I just want to hit 60 so i can finally start to play the game!! (btw thats when my roommate, who got me started in WoW, said thats when the game actually starts)

Mage=Arcanist set + Azuresong Mageblade
Paladin=Judgment set + Finkle's Lava Dredger
Hunter=Beaststalker + Ancient Bone Bow
I have low standards on my hunter because it's only a lvl 33. Mage is 44.

Since respeccing to BM, i tend to heal about 75% of the time for my croc in raids. Thus, full Elemental set WOULD be nice..

Not to be a pedantic nerd, but the Benediction/Anathema quest, while relatively difficult, is not a chain. Once you have the requisite items (Eye of Divinity from Majordomo's chest and the Eye of Shadow from Kazzak and/or the demons in Winterspring) then it's just a single semi-difficult quest you need to do.

On my paladin the dream is to have full judgment (but I hate the alliance now so it cant happen till I make a BE paladin)

Before I found out mages couldn't make use of the item to get it, I wanted a Thunderfury. I was a noob then, but I know better now. Really, I just want a full Netherwind set because it just looks so awesome.
Either that or full Field Marshal gear, but I don't have a snowflake's chance of getting that before the XP drops.

The Bene/Ana priest staff is not a long chain. At all.
I'd say if your guild isn't close to getting your "dream gear" at this point in the game, take a break for a month until BC hits, it'll be replaced sooner rather than later.

I'd like to get 5/5 Avenger's on my Paladin, along with the Battlegear of Eternal Justice, sword only used when im tanking and healing, when i'm just a random outlier, i'd want to use Dark Edge of Insanity, though that Might of Menethil looks bloody kick ass.
