Sometimes you need some spell damage to get the job done. Every once in a while, you need a shield, or maybe a special trinket or a cool pair of shoulders. But every once in a while, you just need a big ass axe.
Name: Soul Cleaver
Type: Epic Two-Hand Axe
Damage / Speed: 386-579 / 3.70 (130.4 DPS)
Abilties:
Getting Rid of It: Well, you could DE it, of course. Vendors will give you 18g 17s 17c for it.

Abilties:
- It cleaves your SOUL!
- +65 Strength, +63 Stamina, which makes this clearly a Hunter weapon. I'm KIDDING! No, Mortal Strike Warriors, this one's just for you, or maybe a Paladin or a Enhance Shammy if you've already got it.
- Also, your attacks ignore 315 of your opponent's armor, which is a nice bonus to damage.
- Plus, just look at it! That is a huge freakin' axe!
Getting Rid of It: Well, you could DE it, of course. Vendors will give you 18g 17s 17c for it.

I think by now it's clear that any weapon is a hunter weapon. Or was that the joke?

I don't know if this was ever the intention of the specific column - but I really appreciated showing the spotlight on loot that is actually attainable by the better portion of WoW players that might go unnoticed. Yes BT loot is amazing, but I won't ever see it :(
Maybe there needs to be a "under the radar" loot or something for players to find those silly quest items like the Magneto Sphere or Archmage Vargoth's Staff. It could also spotlight & compare those "nearly equivalent" quest loot items with the crazy epic raid loot items.
Just a suggestion!

wow this is suprising, just today myself (holy paladin) and my 2v2 arena partner (MS warrior) fought an enhancement shaman with this axe (his partner was also a MS warrior). I have to say a tauren with blood lust poped looks quite scary with this thing. We eventually won (shaman didnt heal...at all :S) but it was quite entertaining.

Paladins are only unable to use wands, staves, fist weapons, daggers, bows and guns.

why should MS warriors get it over paladins or shamans? none of us use 2 handers in pve lawl.

MS Warriors who go on raids as MS Warriors DO use 2handers in PvE.

Too bad MS Warriors won't ever see the Black Temple, let alone get this, in an Arms spec. It's because Fury is the best PvE spec, period. Right now, if you want to get into a Black Temple run, you'll need a good raiding guild, and good raiding guilds have class leaders that determine your specs if you want to raid with them. And any class leader worth his salt will tell you to foot up 50 gold, get two nice 1Hers and slam shit to... Well, slammed shit.
