Guild bank checkers

No, the point of this post is a new use of the guild bank that has nothing to do with storage: checkers! Affix, from Tichondrius-A, has discovered that the bank is good for fun as well as utility. One player is using Netherweave, the other is using Arcane Dust, and they both seem to be having a good time (check the thread for more pictures). I have to say, this is the first time I've seen somebody playing a minigame inside WoW without AddOns or anything. Drysc speculates that chess would be somewhat viable, despite the fact that there is one row too few, what with the variety of item icons that exist. Tic-tac-toe should obviously work as well, though that's a fairly trivial game to not lose. Who wants to play guild bank connect four? Can you think of any other games that could be played within the default interface?

"Go" is quite possibly the best board strategy game yet invented, and it is easily played in the guild bank:

A guildie and I were playing a version of tetris trying to fill up the guild bank with Simple Wood and Flash Powder yesterday. He would try to remove them before I could fill up the remaining spots in a tab.
Seeing as he's a huge neat freak about the guild bank, his reactions in officer chat were priceless.

I wish we had the space for anything remotely like this. We purchased 3 tabs, and by the time we emptied out our various guild bank toons those tabs where full. time for a guild fire sale of low level items...

You could even play chess, with some clever choices for pieces (though I'm not clever enough to offer any suggestions).

Affix is one of the top 5 mages in the entire game. Pretty sure gold is irrelevant.

@6 my guild too...already we purchased tab #2. One guy keeps setting it to be Xg 69s 69c...I always even it out :)
And I'm new to the guild, having just rerolled...

You can go to yahoo and play online checkers and chess for free. But, it's your $15/mo I guess. :0)

Here's hoping they expand it to 8 rows for some proper chess. I'd sacrifice a column or two :D
