WoW Moviewatch: Speed painting an orc

While this is certainly not machinima, I like it because it's different. It's incredible to see what someone can do with a few hours and a tablet. What I find more amazing is that this guy didn't even use layers!

I can paint almost as well with my tablet and I don't use layers OR trace. I just eyeball and approximate while studying a picture or person.

btw, i know its a tracing because in every other drawing you see (and having had an art class or two) faces are always prescetched first with 3d forms for guides. the rule of 3rds!
when you trace, you dont need to do any of that since its all in the picture under the clear flap in your tablet.

Come up with the original artwork, then, please. Otherwise, this borders on libel.
(For the record, if you draw enough, you get used to the proportions and don't need the wireframes anymore. And not every artist uses the wireframes to begin with; in particular, I suggest you check out Ann Martin's "Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain", which eschews them entirely.)
