Get yourself a Dire Raven in 2.4.2

I've been playing my Hunter lately, and while some Hunters are extremely loyal to their pets (sometimes carrying them through the entire game), I'm not so much -- I switch pets all the time. That's probably why my favorite news from 2.4.2 so far is the little note under the Hunter section: Dire Ravens will now be tameable.Mania is excited because they're a new form for pets, and they may even be a new family. But I'm more excited because the raven, in its current form, actually also is used as the Night Elf Druid's flight form. Finally, I get my very own Druid to run around and tank for me. Unfortunately, it won't be able to switch into bear form, and Regrowth isn't an option, either, but it will definitely be nice to have another bird of prey in the mix.
No word yet on which abilities they'll have, but if they follow Owls or Vultures, they'll probably come with at least Claw, Dive, and Screech, and maybe Bite if we're lucky. If I can get one that actually says "Caw," or even "Nevermore," I'm totally sold.

I've wanted one of these on my hunter since I first came across them. I wonder what type of skills they will have.

"Once tamed, Dire Ravens knows the skills Dive Ranks 3 and Screech Rank 5. They have the normal carrion bird diet of meat and fish and can learn all the skills that carrion bids can learn, including Bite, Claw, Dive, Screech, Growl, Cower, and the passive skills."

Aye, when I saw that on my Druid I was instantly infuriated, and simultaneously relieved that I'd amassed the necessary gold beforehand.

OK. Its going to be a few more hours before I can step through the nearest portal into WOW am wracking my brain. I can't go to wowhead or any other WOW site due to firewall restrictions here at work so I'm asking for a little shout out. I can't for the life of me picture these guys ANYWHERE in BE. It has been a very long time since I've done anything in Blades Edge that wasn't related to a daily quest so I'm sure that I'm forgetting something. (obviously)
I'll look past the evil druid enslavement comments and not hunt you down, put your pet to sleep, root your butt and burn you into hunter cinders while yelling "TRAIN THIS YOU PANSY! YOU WANT A BIRD? I'LL GIVE YOU THE BIRD..." etc. Maybe.
Three Cheers for an instant cast flying mount that you can't get knocked off of with a simple stun. Swift Flight Form FTW!!!

They are neutral mobs near Grishnath on the northwest side, through the bridge/tunnel from Ruuan Weald, around the questgiver treant.

the wild version,the tamable....Blizz could atleast remove the ears.
for a game so uber succesfull,removing a pair of ears on a simple graphic shouldnt be hard at all.
