WoW Moviewatch: In This Twilight

It's reader submission time again! Cryfury submitted this artistic gameplay video, although we're not sure if they took the footage themselves, or just remixed some of Blizzard's. Either way, it makes for an entertaining piece.

Set to a Nine Inch Nails song of the same name, In This Twilight is packed with all of the goodness that you enjoy. There's travel, battle, scenery, and suspense shots, or, something for everyone. If you're a glutton for punishment, check out Cryfury's WoW interpretation of Everybody (Backstreet's Back).

It's painfully obvious that all of the footage within comes from Blizzard designed trailers. If you're worried about insulting the "creators" with such a statement in your article...don't be. :)

Fail. I almost liked the video, but my Failmeter (tm) started beeping red when it was so clear that everything was copied from Blizzard trailers.

You know what? I don't have the time to create all of my original work. I never submitted this as my own work, and it wouldn't kill you to be a little nicer.

To be fair, the youtube video description pretty clear states that cry was using blizzard's videos, so while this is arguably more of a mashup than a typical machinima, I don't think there was anything like an attempt to hide the fact.

only movie I've ever bothered to watch on here. a little disappointed, but anything with Trent Reznor's voice in it cant be bad.

Whoa now. You submitted your machinima knowing what the WoW Moviewatch audience was like. They rarely provide constructive criticism. I didn't criticize because there was nothing wrong with the piece other than you using the Blizzard footage. However, if these are the only comments you ended up with, you're lucky. They are a vicious bunch. Don't egg them on.
