With the gates having opened yesterday or today, depending on which side of the Atlantic you're on, guild are starting to test their might against Kil'jaeden. In this video VANQUISH, of Cho'gall (US), shows an early attempt at KJ. They deliberately showed us a try where they didn't know much, to avoid giving spoilers; nonetheless, of course, if you don't want to know anything about the fight, this is not the video for you.
Although it's pretty hard to tell what's going on, it certainly looks epic. Reminds me a bit of Ragnaros, actually. And it seemed to be going pretty well for Vanquish, at least until a small dragon showed up and everybody wiped -- except for one craft rogue player of some sort. Jeez. Good luck to all guilds trying to down him!
Right now, there's a buzz on the hunter forums that the legendary bow would actually have a 2.7 speed instead of the 3.0 depicted here. That would make it a much more desirable weapon for BM hunters.
Sorry for being slightly off-topic, I thought it was interesting enough to post anyway.
Hey, I know this is totally unrelated to Kil'Jaeden, I have a question on the Death Knights, not understanding how its gonna work. I know you need a level 55, but is it one DK per account or one DK per server or per server per lvl 55?
I mean i hear its supposed to be one per account.. I hear its as many as you want as long as you have one lvl 55 and its only one on a server... if its number two, does that mean i can have one on every server as long as i have a lvl 55 on my account or if i were to have one lvl 55 on a server i can only have a DK on the servers i have a lvl 55 on?
So its almost like a way for blizzard to get rid of or more or less feed those out there who are wanting to pay for power leveling services? this is very different from what was first leaked out about having to get to lvl 80 to unlock a death knight. i wonder if its a way to make a hurt on glider. though i woudnt know if it actually quenches the thirst of those who hate leveling an alt.

Nice! Been wanting to see some footage of this fight.

The guild is V A N Q U I S H, not SK.
Eliah Hecht May 21st 2008 7:20PM
Right you are, of course. Fixing now. I guess I must have gotten confused because I found this at SK's site, and I was posting too hastily.
atkbovine May 21st 2008 7:19PM
This is Serennia, who plays in the guild VANQUISH on Cho'gall(US). Not SK-Gaming.

I'M A DRAGON!! LOOK AT ME!!

In this video we see Kil'Jaeden fiercly protecting his famed collection of highly fashionable hats.

Finally a vid that isn't ruined by someone's poor choice in music, makes it that much more epic with good in-game sound.
Makes me want to raid more:P.
Baluki May 21st 2008 10:02PM
Oh god yes. It's amazing how weird it is to be able to hear what's going on in the video.
Maybe someone will add a thumping techno track and make it like all the other vids.
Warcloud May 21st 2008 10:59PM
Agreed. So tired of the music that people put over their WoW videos. I just mute them by default. This is a nice change.

It's one per server, and you need to have a level 55+ somewhere.
Thyhammerr May 21st 2008 7:50PM

It also makes sense since this is a hero class. Otherwise, you'd roll DK and go kill some boars with your http://www.wowdb.com/item.aspx?id=1412
Not very GD heroic, huh?
