They've done it again. The
first guild to kill M'uru,
SK Gaming (of Vek'nilash EU), is now the first guild in the world to
kill Kil'jaeden himself, the last boss of the
Sunwell Plateau and of
The Burning Crusade. The
gate to the encounter has been open for three days in Europe. As
Nihilum notes, SK's kill does end Nihilum's tradition of taking down every end boss in
WoW since C'Thun. This is almost certainly the last world first we'll see until
Wrath of the Lich King. The US first on Kil'jaeden is, of course, still up in the air.
Their loot was:
The winning raid has one feral druid, three hunters, one mage, two paladins, four priests, three rogues, five shamans, four warlocks, and two warriors (Thanks to

Gz! They got 1st and 2nd on the rest, so I guess they were best-placed to do this.
But only 3 badges for the last boss of TBC ? What are they going to buy with that! :D

I bet you anything the group comp will be alot of warlocks, shamans, ,and rogues. How the mage has become so worthless( ms warriors out dps them)
I find it funny there is a feral in there...prolly couldn't find a fury warrior at the time.

While I agree things are a bit wonky right now in some particulars, it's a really bad idea to use a world first kill to comment on class balance. A month from now when the fight is better understood what is best for the fight could change considerably. More importantly, on bleeding edge content different classes get swapped in for every boss.

Mages have been unfavored by "bleeding edge" guilds for almost the entirety of the burning crusade at this point. Everything a mage does a warlock can do better. The gripe certainly isn't new or surprising.

305 Attack Power vs 5% crit - that's my educated guess as to why the feral was in there.
