Anetheron's Infernals hotfixed
Quite a few raiders, including some of our own here at WoW Insider, noticed one more big change to a raid boss that that came in with patch 2.4.3: Anetheron, the second boss of Mount Hyjal, was not dropping Towering Infernals on random players as usual. This made the battle pretty trivial for most raids by making it more or less a run of the mill tank and spank. Unfortunately -- or fortunately, depending on how challenging you like your raids -- this was not an actual intended change. Vaneras and Bornakk are both reporting that Anetheron has been hotfixed and should start dropping infernals again. Sorry guys, no more free loot. Well, no more freer loot, at least.

Yea, definitely wasn't hard to begin with, but it was funny as hell. After 2 infernals didn't spawn, we said screw it and go all out.
All it did was speed up our evening by a few minutes. Woot

On Illidan It looked like he was casting his sheer ability faster than usual? almost as if double casting it back to back. Before cooldown of sheildblock was back up.

We actually attempted him after the hotfix was supposedly done, but he still did not drop infernals. I think he is still bugged.

I won't be able to confirm or deny it personally till next Tuesday, I'd hope they'd fix it within a weeks time though.

That made the fight sooo easy, I was on the Infernal tanking, looking around and wondering what the hell is going on. Good thing I am a druid so going to the DPS was easy :), well i guess we are going to the way its suposed to be.
I think the bug was due to the new animation to the soalweals, where they are summoned and drop from the sky, like the infernal. I dont see any other thing that might have buged that, or were they tweaking the fight itself and broke it.
That would rase a question of what were they trying to change?

We read that it was hotfixed, but when we attempted him, it still hadn't been fixed. We downed him yesterday evening, around 6:30 server time.
By we, I mean of Spirestone Alliance.

Killed tonight by on Chromaggus without any Infernals. Still bugged.

We just killed Anetheron about 10 minutes ago. He *does* cast the spell, but no infernal spawns.

Did this a few hours ago and still had not been fixed. Easiest fight ever. thx for the free loot bliz
