Wrath Collector's Ed pet: Frosty the Frost Wyrm whelp

A lot of readers tipped this in while looking through Wowhead's comprehensive Achievements database. While we've actually heard of rumors of the Wrath of the Lich King Collector's Edition, with pictures of the box supposedly making their way out of the printers, this Achievement more or less confirms that there will be a Collector's Edition and that the Frost Wyrm whelp model leaked in Alpha is actually the Collector's Edition pet.

The Achievement falls under Feats of Strength, along with the other Collector's Edition Achievements The requirement is possession of Frosty's Collar, an item not yet implemented in Beta. The Achievements page defines the Feats of Strength as "an accomplishment that players will find either very difficult if not impossible to earn. Feats of Strength are a collection of past glories on Azeroth."

have her roll a mage... you can get a glyph added to the Polymorph spell that turns them into penguins instead of sheep or pigs or turtles.

I'm thinking of buying the collector's edition for once, because unlike TBC I really like the darker design of Northrend and I think concept art booklets etc will look cool and thus worth my money.

Are pets like these one-time only? or can you use them again on alts? or perhaps on your same account but on another server?

With the BC Collector's Editon, every new toon created, on any server, had the pet waiting for them in their mailbox.

@ makishima: it would go to all the character (present and new) that are under the account that you use when installing the CE of WotLK.

So where did this Zach guy come from?

I've never seen him post before and suddenly he's spammed the page more times than a troll in a forum.

He's generating all these topics that are interesting, but i'm not sure what to think of him.

He's not elitest. He's a PvPer. He has no regret in deleting a character to make way for more fun and possibly a better class. He's obviously an awesome father.

I'm kinda in the dark here.

Let's just hope he's not a Role Player lol.
