Some Gnomes glitched in Wrath beta

Gnomes can't handle their weapons. At least not in the Wrath beta. In a strange graphics glitch, gnomes of certain classes look as if their swords are glued to the backs of their hands instead of being grasped. The glitch occurs whether fighting or not. It doesn't happen with Warlocks, who hold their weapons correctly, but I was able to replicate it with a Rogue and there are Warrior screenshots elsewhere on the web. Some players are even reporting that their offhand weapon is floating away and seeming to fight by itself. Blue forum poster, Gradina, says that Blizzard knows about the issue and is working on a fix.

Now in the meantime, I think a little creativity is called for. Instead of stabbing or slicing with your sword, you could slap mobs upside the head. (Who doesn't like the phrase "upside the head"?) Or, you could spin around really quickly, Whirlwind style, and scrape everyone on the ankles, thereby cutting them down to your size. Maybe for the female Gnomes out there, you could use your weapon as a mirror for smoothing out split ends after a fight. And if your offhand weapon gets frisky and floats away? Take some time out for a bite of toast or to smell the roses while your extra weapon does all the work.

At least it's gnomes. If Blizzard can't fix it, it's easy to just blame it on a broken gnomish gizmo and call it a class feature.

I kinda like the idea of your character performing some sort of egotistical display after landing a killing blow in pvp such as "Maybe for the female Gnomes out there, you could use your weapon as a mirror for smoothing out split ends after a fight. " Would be kind of funny to see.

They don't really care about how weapons interact with character models. Just try some of the PvP fist weapons (or the badge ones, or just about anything that doesn't look like brass knuckles) on a male night elf, and cringe in the face of what Blizzard ignores.

Gnomes already look stupid, but this is just ridiculoulsy retarded (which ironically fits gnomes). Players who chose to play a gnome must be proud their little pink kneebiter got glitched cause now they can achieve a higher level of stupidness.

As a I have a gnome rogue on the beta, this screenshot makes it look cool. Try to words, floating in awkward directions half-a-gnome-body length away from the hands. Kinda annoying when 3 or 4 gnome are sitting and wailing on the target dummies in Dalaran sewers. But funny nonetheless.

But it's beta. Do you really need to report graphic glitches? From what I see, there are a lot of glitches. The Death Knight server crashing abilities are actually news.

In the undead starting area on live, sometimes mob's weapons fly aroundo n their own (bug).

It affects Warlocks too. And it looks really horrendous with a staff or fishing pole, with it going across the body. Off-hand items float slightly away from the hand, reversed, and pointing down and backward. Wands and main-hand items sort of attach to the hand, but then stick out to the right of the body.
