That being said, I noticed while drawing this out and looking at a screen shot of Thrall that he looks like a green, balding version of the Geico cavemen. With big teeth, of course. Maybe it's just me.
I know I've started doing them on the computer entirely again, but I uh... misplaced my drawing paper. When I get paid this Friday maybe I'll go pick up more, but that's a really long drive to the nearest art store.
Possible alternate text for a couple of the panels after the jump!
The fourth panel I was a little undecided on what to have Sylvanas retaliate with, so here are some of the ideas I had.
- "Get back in the box!"
- "... are we wearing matching outfits?"
- "I told you they'd find out that you rolled a gnome last month. You'll never live it down."

I got it and it sucked on a level I didn't think was possible. Even though I hate this comic, I can say without any bias that it should not exist.
And to be perfectly honest, the joke just doesn't work. Ok, she has a new model and the other npcs want one to. I don't see how that's funny, it's a mess. Especially at the end where it switches from one punch-line to a completely different one. There was so much potential with what Sil said but like this entire series, it's wasted potential.
Go ahead, downrank me. At least I'm being honest here and not acting like an "internet white knight." I swear if you guys didn't know it was a girl writing this, you wouldn't be so defensive.

As much as i love WoW, this comic i assume is leaning towards being funny as opposed to story driven like a DC/ Marvel comic.
So where's the funny???
Just because you take something out of the game and apply it to a "comic",makes its cool & funny for the kids, but i rather read Ding! or Dr.McNinja if Iwant funny...
Yuck... But hey dont give up Barrens Chat people...you'll get it eventually get it.

Actually its common decency why people don't say the things you did. Yes, you think its bad, that doesn't mean "the strip should cease to exist" it means that the type of humor doesnt fit you.
I gotta love people that blame lack of criticism on gender in a blog. Are you trying to get a rise, or are you just an offensive person in general? There's a large difference between someone giving criticism and someone trying to get a rise.

I think it's pretty telling that this 'feature' has a very low comment rate. Of those very few comments, half of them are negative.
I think it's great that WoWInsider gave this stip and artist a shot, but at what point should you give up and admit that this isn't working?
Surely the Editors of this lovely blog care about things like this. The name of the game is 'hits' and 'readers'... This strip is not bringing in either of those.
I've tried (painfully) to follow this strip and read it (this is one of the only WoW-related blogs I can access at work, so I usually spend a good deal of time reading all posts), but it's bad. The art is amateur, the jokes are lame and obscure... I could go on.
No one comments because they believe as I believe: 'If you have nothing good to say, don't say it all'. They scroll right on past.
WoWInsider Editors: I emplore you, PLEASE kill this feature. It's a black hole of NOTHING in an otherwise over-the-top awesme blog.
