Diablo III,
Rock 'n' Roll Racing, and
The Lost Vikings 2. What do all of these things have in common? They're all made by Blizzard, and they're all playable on the floor of BlizzCon 2008. The last two, however, are hidden in the Retro Arcade area, where Blizzard has set up all of the old games from their past for visitors to experience and play. It's not a complete display (no
Starcraft 64, and
Justice League Task Force would have been fun to play), but there are a lot of great titles in there anyway. It's too bad I've got to play
Starcraft II for a hands-on later today -- I'd kind of rather go play the original again. But that's not a bad problem to have.

Ahh, the childhood hours poured into Lost Vikings and Rock'n'Roll Racing. I've been a Blizz fan for longer than I thought I was!

I still have a copy of Lost Vikings on CD - I just can't get it to work, but ONE OF THESE DAYS it will be MINE again! Muaahahahahahahaaaa!

Tried Dosbox yet? Made my day when I found that and finally got Day of the Tentacle to work right.

YES! It worked! Hee hee hee....(rubs hands together with glee) - I even have Descent and Cyberia on my computer that I'd completely fogotten about. Oh, yes...the joys of Old School :-)

I loved me some Rock 'n Roll Racing on Sega Genesis back in the day. That announcer became horrendously annoying after a while though.

NO JUSTICE LEAGUE!? JLTF was the first Blizzard game I owned, it was awesome. I still play it sometimes =p
