Blizzard updates emote list, you applaud. Bravo!

We knew that Wrath was going to bring new emotes (and some of them were even suggested by players), and now Blizzard has posted the full list, complete with which emotes have animations and voices, and none or both. The /cower is the most hilarious one I've seen so far -- the Night Elf /cower is just terrific. And some of these are old and just not very well known -- /nosepick, I'm pretty sure, has been in there since the beginning, but I don't remember ever seeing anyone use it in game.

Unfortunately, they don't mark which are new and which aren't, but I believe /incoming is a new one. I've never tried out /sing or /ding. and /doh looks new to me as well. But odds are that there are at least a few you haven't tried yet, and we do know that lots of the animations are new for sure.

So get in there and try out some emoting -- if there's an especially funny one you find, let us know for sure.

yeah, the first time i pulled the NE /cower I sat there and ROFL'd for minutes on end.

I've always wondered that maybe they're not using /kick because it's close to /gkick or whatever.

The use of /kick is great for a newbie PUG. Tell the noob that he can't kick me in the arse... its funny. I agree that they need a /boot emote...

I play a rogue, so I compensated by having it say "/e kicks %t in the balls. Ouch!" whenever I use kick. It gets the job done.

Out of the ones posted, /ding is the only new one that I can see. /incoming is definitely old - I've been using it for 1 or 2 years now.

/pet is the one I'm most excited about. I kept trying to /pet people and would have to do the long way around or /pat instead. But now I can pet my noncombat pet, my hunter's tiger, and my party members with ease.

True, /incoming is there since like i dunno,for years :P So is /doh (my favourite), however i really love the new /facepalm and such, good news to me in the patch :P

/nosepick, /doh, and /incoming have all been in the game since vanilla. I'm surprised that you've never seen the /nosepick emote used before. It's one of my favorites when a group is taking their time to set up for a boss.

/pick has been one of my staple emotes for a long time now. Along with /moon and /fart.

(yes I have the sense of humor of a 12 year old. No, I don't care.)

/doh is, alternatively, /bonk. I've never actually typed /doh before, but I /bonk people all the time, and it's the same exact emote. Heh.

My favorite above all, though, is still /violin

I have screenshots of myself using a custom macro:

/me gives %t a high five!

That I have had since day 1 of WoW. Blizzard finally put it in game as /highfive and I have to say, while I was originally upset that my macro was going to be stolen by people, it's much cooler to get a /highfive in return instead of "/w HAY HOW DID YOU DO THAT EMOTE?"
