From comedians Rich Kuras and Sandeep Parikh (who you know best from The Guild, most likely) comes a look at the United States presidential election through the eyes of Azeroth. If all of the 11 million active World of Warcraft subscriptions were US citizens, Azeroth would be the 8th largest state in the union. Rich Kuras looks to find out whether Azeroth would be a red or a blue state. I think the last thing any of us want is political fisticuffs, so just take this video as the light political humor that it is and don't read too much into it.
The polling stats at the end are a little silly because the numbers most certainly wouldn't come out that way on a larger scale survey, but that's alright, it's not meant to be super accurate. It's just a silly little thing, and I chuckled at the commentary from the people they spoke to on both sides of the fence. Deep political commentary? No. Mildly entertaining? Yes! And I admit, I smirked at the mention of Mike Gravel.

I loved the human paladin's comparison... Obama is a Tauren Druid, he's constantly changing forms. One day he supports one issue, the next he's against it. One day he's white, next day he's black... lol priceless. That was the best part of the video.
I think you would be incorrect, but would be on the nose if you instead assumed this is a person, like many others, who can't give 2 cents who someone votes for and would like all the political/religious dribble that gets debated in trade channel to be ejected from the game. So yes, "Politics out of WoW!" and as a American if I had to put a groundless assumption on it I would actually think a Republican would want more politics in games. Then again I follow politics as well as a drunken bum does the NASDAQ.
@seph: typically the "politics out of WoW" thought seems to stem from the fact that political discussions in WoW are usually along the same intellectual plane as Barrens Chat, and descends into people shouting cliches instead of having anything remotely resembling a discussion.

That and certain types of people tend to be downright insulting to those who disagree with them.
Personally I like to come to WoW to get away from the political disputes of RL, not to have them shoved in my face again. That's why I would prefer "Politics out of WoW" as well
My vote is for Bob Barr nominee of the libertarian party. Reverting back to when the government did not commit unconstitutional (illigal) acts. Read the constitution and the enumerated powers and the tenth admendment-ALL POWERS NOT LISTED ARE DELEGATED TO THE STATES.
P.S.: We do not have three branches but two the state and FEDERAL(not national) government are equal; executive, legislative, and judictial DEPARTMENTS are part of the federal. How can they check eachother if they are on the same side.
True, all powers not in the constitution are reserved to the states, but if they want federal tax dollars through the US Highway Bill they have to do as the fed says or you get almost 0 public works projects and through the 14 Amendment all states have to be as protective of citizen's rights as the fed.
Don't get your panties in a knot over the three branches of government being controlled by one party, it's not likely that Republican's will be unable to filibuster in the Legislature and the Supreme Court is balanced around 4 conservatives, 4 liberals, and a moderate (Kennedy) and they tend to make the right decision regardless of party affiliation anyway.
Not that I'm overly happy with many Democrats though, too many of them are just Republicans in a bad suit.
There are actually dozens of political parties; only the two most popular are democrat and republican right now. There are others with a small following like the Libertarians, the Green Party, and the Reform Party. Also the definition and stances of the republican and democratic party have changed or even switched over time. Ohh, civics. ;)
