First level 70 Death Knight on the realms

Odds are, I'd say, that we'll see our first level 80 sometime this afternoon (and probably in Europe, since they got a little bit of a time zone head start) -- we've had reports come in from one very obnoxious Paladin, but his claims to level 80 aren't actually true. But in the meantime, here's the first level 70 Death Knight we've heard of: Arello of Raptors Open Doors on Shattered Hand dinged 70 as a Death Knight in Northrend's New Agamand. The Armory doesn't have his character in yet, but this seems credible to us.
We're not sure he's the absolute first, though, just the first we've heard of -- anyone else have proof of a Death Knight at 70 already? And we'll keep an eye out for (credible) claims of level 80 firsts -- the run from level 60 to 70 took about 28 hours the first time around, so unless Blizzard did things a lot different, we'll probably see it sometime today.

I'm not a "fan", I just heard of him today.
But I find it hard to excuse your senseless bash over his means of levelling, when it has been CONFIRMED by Blizz that it was legit and he was banned for no reason.
Dumbing this down to a disagreement between fans - not fans is dumb. And dumb is something I'm not very keen on.

Sorry, Kassu, but I call shenanigans. If you just heard of this guy today, and you're not a fan, then it's even more inexcusable that you called on the people questioning his legitimacy to "go and die". That suggestion is absolutely inappropriate in any circumstance, and that you're making it regarding a game and a guy you claim to not even have heard of before today says worlds about your emotional maturity.
To address your actual argument, as I understand the situation, Athene received one message from a CM saying that his method was legitimate, and one message from a CM saying that his method was exploiting and bannable. You seem to be taking the first message as gospel and the second as nonsense, which doesn't make very much sense if you're looking at the situation impartially. The bottom line, frankly, is that Athene *was* banned for his tactics, and I can't think of a better way to judge which message *Blizzard* thinks is the correct one.

If you genuinely don't care about the content of an article... don't read it
That's why I skip "All the World's a Stage"- and you'll notice I don't curse in their comments section
