GotGame releases their ingame browser separately

As lots of commenters said on our last post, this isn't really an ingame browser, it's more of an overlay that lets you browse while playing the game. And all it really does is save you the couple of minutes it would take to tab out and check your own browser (or just run WoW in a windowed mode, and use both at the same time).
But there are a probably a few users out there who would find it really useful. Downtime is the main issue I can think of (though lots of my downtime is filled lately with the Bejeweled addon anyway). But if you've been waiting for a solid, standalone ingame browser to come along (complete with Flash support, which makes it easy to pull up Hulu or Pandora while playing), Rogue is it.

Got Game ingame web browser allows users to multitask which is good for people who have a limited amount of time.

Unfortunately, you can'tchange the keybindings in the browser, which conflict with some of my WoW keybindings.

It looks interesting. I wonder if you can change the key assignments as the default keys are:
Hot Keys
* F12 – Shows/Hides Rogue
* F11 – Transfers Mouse/Keyboard Control From Rogue to the Game and Vice Versa
* F10 – Decreases Rogue’s Transparency
* F9 – Increases Rogue’s Transparency

Which is the same keys that are built into Wow (the bag keys) and Fraps.

I play with dual monitors now and Wow in windowed mode maximized so I can move back and forth when I need to look something up.
For people with only one monitor this is a nice add on.

i only have one monitor, it's called alt-tab, i never run WoW maximzed, it takes no time at all to switch windows that way

Alt-Tab's from WoW fullscreen will be much closer to instantaneous if you utilize the same resolution in-game, as you do on your desktop.

Only reason I ended up with dual monitors was because I got a new 23 inch monitor that was nicer than my 19 inch. I use dual display at work so I ended up doing it at home for classwork, nice having a browser window or pdf file open when I am working on papers.
Since I started using Lightheaded mod I never have to switch to look something up in Wowhead anyways.

Indeed. Run WoW windowed but with the "Maximized" option ticked. It looks like it's fullscreen (no start menu or anything). Then when you need to switch to Firefox, just press your Windows key or alt+tab and you can keep WoW running and open on your main monitor.

Probably won't be long before they let you customize the buttons. I'd expect an update fairly soon, but that's just me.

Gmail should come up with an addon that lets you check your Gmail in a WoW-style interface. Hell, everyone should be making in-game addons... people like me live inside the game LOL...

Yeah, but we can just hit Exposé and have a Safari or Firefox window waiting for us ... and our Vent window... and everything else.
Looking at this I'm not seeing any real benefit to us Mac users.
And as far as the "Social Networking" goes, I have Guild chat, and /leave general & /leave trade ftw. LOL

mahh. .. seems kinda crappy and since im Mac through and through anyways, i cant use it. not that i would since nothing is configurable from in game.

I wasn't really complaining, it is stupid easy (because it is built in?) to do almost the exact same thing... command m, click browser n go.

This is super awesome for those of us running linux......sound issues and such may be solved :)
