Mining Toughness bug beefs up twinks

This is an interesting bug (a bug that twinks might not be so happy we're shedding light on it, but it is a bug nonetheless): apparently Toughness, which is the bonus that comes from the mining profession, is giving a much bigger buff than designed at tier 3 of the ability. Instead of giving a bonus to health (as it's supposed to, and as it does for miners not within the 225-299 range), it's actually giving a bonus to Stamina. So level 19s with mining between 225-299 are actually picking up about 700 health, instead of the designed 70.Apparently twinkinfo.com has been waiting on a hotfix for this one for a while, but apparently it's not fixed yet, and twinks who have leveled past 300 are a little angry that the lower-leveled miners are picking up a couple hundred more HP (not to mention, you know, the people being killed by the overpowered twinks). Hopefully Blizzard will get this fixed soon -- it seems like an obvious bug and a fairly easy hotfix.

They won't even acknowledge the mind flay bugs exist so I wouldn't hold out much hope for them fixing this one very quickly.

I hope you're talking about the "bug" that when the casting timer runs out for MF that it is still casting?
Or is there some _other_ bug..?!

This has been awesome for level 19 mages, finally we can take on twinked hunters. Give a hunter a machine gun and I wouldn't notice the difference, but I can just about survive long enough to dps them down now.

This is the first that I have heard about this bug.
It sounds to me that they are not posting on it being new, but that it still has not been fixed.

Who cares...isn't the whole point of twinks to be OP in their bracket anyway?
How about fixing more important issues like Hunter's pet autocasting features.
Anyway, I'm sure that the new BoA heirloom gear will eventually replace most of the traditional twink regalia.
Then twinks will complain that "heirloom is op"

um actually heirloom items only "level up" every 10 levels, so they will have different stats at lvl 1, 10, 20... and so on.. so for the twinks who are at 19, 29 and so on wont be going after heirlooms im betting.

Really, Jim? That's the first time I've heard that, and I've tried to follow Heirloom items fairly closely. It would be an effective way to limit their usefulness for twinks, but I thought they were avoiding that by having them not actually be THE BEST item at their level.

Heirloom items are not for twinks, in fact they are designed for levelling.
From what I gather the heirloom items change every tier (1-9, 10-19, 20-29 etc) and in addition armour pieces will change according to what you can do. So you can buy the plate piece for the pally and send it to your lvl 10 pally, from whom it will be a mail piece and will have stats appropriate to the 10-19 tier.
Furthermore blizzard tried stating clearly that it is not the best item for each tier, its just an item you do not need to change tier to tier and it has a very nice 10% experience level. It is designed to for the players that have completed all pve content and want to level another class and keep them interested.
Im hoping wowhead will post up a brakedown of tier to tier so everyone will know whether it is worth spending their money on that item or does their toon, for that tier, have a better item.

Gotta be hard to lvl Mining up to those ranges as a lvl 19...

Not really no. You can smelt your way there, have someone else do the actual mining and send you the ores. I've seen a lvl 19 exalted with Skettis, I'd imagine that to be a little harder to do. Guess why they added the lvl 70 requirement to the trinket?
1-65 smelt copper (green at 47, but who cares)
65-75 bronze or tin
75-125 silver (green at 122)
125-155 iron (green at 145)
155-175 gold
175-225 mithril
Expensive you say? We're talking about the people that pay 100G for Feet of the Lynx when they could've picked up Feet of the Lynx or Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots for free.

We're also talking about the sort of people that splash out thousands of gold to create the ultimate 19 rogue twink... just so they can gank lowbies like an annoying jerk all the time.
I think smelting their way to 70 stamina won't break the bank for those people tbh.

I thought you had to be level 35 to be able to train a profession over 225?

no, they removed the level requirements for all gathering profs. you can train htem at level 1 now. i've debated getting my banker's herbing to 75 with the few nodes that are in areas that i've already discovered (can't discover new areas or i'd level to level 2, but i haven't found the time.)
