Warcraft restaurant opens in Beijing

The food itself is even based on the game, and while CCTV.com reports that the menu is named after denizens of WoW, I wonder if they borrowed anything from the in-game recipes. The food shown in CCTV's video definitely looks Chinese in style, so I doubt you'll find anything there you would see in our very American Well Fed Buff, but that's probably a good thing. Personally, I'd love to see a menu. I'm also curious if this restaurant was given the go ahead from Blizzard or the9, or if they even need it.

I would guess that Westfall Stew would be amazingly expensive, since putting 3 Goretusk snouts together in one place takes HOURS.

as a former beijing denizen, i'm pegging the odds at 97% that there's no licensing going on here.

oh geez, it has to open now! ^_^;; I was in Beijing about three weeks ago, as I am studying abroad in China. But now I'm a sleeper train away in Hangzhou and leaving next week after a semester of being abroad. Darn!! It would have been hilarious/fun to see!!

I found some conflicting news about the WoW restaurant just doing a simple google search (sources in Chinese). A few website forums say it's out of business (the news is dated May 2008). Can anyone get a most recent update?
