It's Christmas Day today, so from all of us here at WoW Insider to you and yours, have a great and safe holiday, no matter where you are. Hopefully whatever you find under your tree, be it virtual or real, is exactly what you were hoping for.And don't forget that Winter's Veil presents go up ingame today as well -- the rumor going around is that it's a racecar (and who doesn't want a racecar, seriously), but the only way to find out is to head on into the capital cities and go look for Greatfather Winter's presents.
As always, thanks for all you do for us -- your support throughout the year helps us deliver all the WoW news and views that we post every day. Posting will likely be a little light over the next few days, as our bloggers spend the holiday with their own families, but of course we'll be back soon with a brand new set of posts for you to come and unwrap every day.

Be careful not to log out in IF near the event. You won't be able to log back onto that toon. Spent the last 30 min trying to get back on my main.

I logged in IF last night to prepare for today - I can't log on, does anyone know if this problem will be fixed, or if I will be able to open presents later, because I only need the last two achievements for the merrymaker, and I don't want to mess that up.

Hey there. I actually had this exact same problem. I couldn't log onto my main, who I had logged out in IF last night. I originally thought it was due to all the traffic in IF, since I could log on my alt who's at the exodar, but then I disabled my Quest Helper addon and bam, I logged into IF fine with my main, right after that. Not sure if it was coincidence or if QH was the problem, but if you have addons, give that a try and see how it goes. The best of luck!

Yeah, my christmas present was a big box of lag under the christmas tree. As soon as i went to org to go to the tree, my computer lagged out and i havent been able to connect since.

I just logged into my main (which I left to IF when I logged out) and it went all fine and I was standing almost right next to the greatfather winter. Also I had QH on, so it can't be the problem.
Merry christmas and happy new year (even though it's still a week 'till that) WoW-Insider and all others! Wonder how the new year is like in WoW apart from real rockets ^^ (began wow a month ago)

Yes the main offender from Affirmative Action, Shandrei has already had a name and gender change. It's Shandruu now
