Revamped Night Elf Druid cat form revealed

My first thoughts are actually quite positive. I love the cat versions of the Night Elf tattoos and the shiny gem collars are a lovely touch, even if the leather bracelet/anklet/pawlet seem a little weird and out of place. When did Night Elves get a leather fetish exactly? The colours are nice, all a variation on Night Elf skin tone but I confess I prefer the colouration of the old cat design. Over all it's quite a nice selection of designs and I think players are going to be rather pleased come patch day to be able to stand out in a crowd of druids, even if not everyone is going to like the new look. My only question is: what's the deal with the different coloured eyes? It's nice but somewhat creepy looking. I like all of the new designs, though I think the Tauren ones have some more oomph.
I am sure there will be people screaming they hate them though. C'est le ve.

nonsense aside, Im not overly crazy about all 4 new forms, however NOBODY can say the old ones were better.
However we are still doomed to hear the outrage from all the "entitled" players who want rocket launchers and "real cat smell"
Also, if we are able to change the look by going to the barber shop, I hope I enjoy mine, cause I dont want to change my hair color... lol

to me...it looks as though the clowns have gotten themselves drunk again, broke into the freak-show tent and had a little fun with the giant rodents. I shall be staying away from feral dps :(

First reaction - Night Elf cats are blind. I think I prefer the eyes on the old model, and would have preferred more variety in the color pallette. Some oranges and brown options would be nice.
Overall, nice to have some variety though.

I tend to agree with you, but they should still feel like night elves, so I can understand why they chose the tones they did.
I love the tauren though, and it's nice they get an opprotunity to really shine here.

Orange and brown options would be impossible because night elves do not have those hair colors. Although more colors would always be nice. Like if there was a choice for every single night elf hair color and not just 5.

My guess is that the 'in-game' models might have the night elf glow to the eyes, rather than just the pupil-less color.

Did the old Bear forms/Cat forms keep the Eye Glow? I don't know off the top of my head but i think they didnt

my first thought was "...thats..new" but as i started looking at it, it grew on me. i think the new face style makes it look like some cool tiger/panther

Totally agree with you. The new models looks like a cool kinda evil tiger and the glowing eyes are a plus on that matter. I don't like the leather bracers tho, they seem out of place.
Taurens look like menacing/wise lions and Night Elves look like fierce/kinda malevolent tigers.
Overall, I think all druids won this time, both Taurens and Night Elves.

Oh and what are those bells on the paws? Added feature so you can hear them when they are about to pounce the hell out of you.. :)
