Isle of Conquest gameplay screenshot gallery

The new Battleground coming with Patch 3.2, the Isle of Conquest, is live on the 3.2 PTR as we speak, and we've been running some games on said Isle to see how it measures up to the current BGs. We're pretty happy with it so far -- it certainly looks great, as you'll be able to tell by checking out the screenshot gallery we've compiled for you. It shows the BG and all its sundry parts in action.
We'll keep you up to date with new Isle info as we get it. If you're on the PTR too, then be sure to queue up -- who knows, it might just be one of us you're ganking!
Patch 3.2 will bring about a new 5, 10, and 25 man instance to WoW, and usher in a new 40-man battleground called the Isle of Conquest. I can't wait to try this! Looks like a lot of fun. I wish they could incorporate more players though. It was kind of fun going into Wintergrasp with 3 full 40 groups... I know it was laggy sometimes, but it felt epic. I hope that this has the same feel.

Spoken too soon? Huge potential for wintergrasp issues. I'm looking forward to it and I hope it succeeds. I think it's a little early however to claim that this will not fail.

Has anyone that has played the Isle of Conquest got an opinion about how possible zerging is compared to some of the zerging in Alterac Valley?

I was thinking the same thing. The other thing I was thinking about was spreading forces too thin. With 40 people per side, you have to send people to one area and then to another. You have offense and defense.
I would love to hear about some personal experiences.

Very very easy to zerg. Get the hangar then shoot the gate, jump in (the general spawns once the gate goes down) then kill him. He's easier than Vann or Drek'thar. Alternatively you could jump in and bomb the gate from inside with the enemy bomb stocks. Figures that the first time i was in one that was actually taking a while and was fun i D/Ced while shooting from the gunship.

after playing like around 10 games.. I the only down fall of the new BG is that it goes by way way to fast..
So blizzard well have to either increase the number of reinforcements or they'll have to remove it altogether.
Other then it's a really great BG to be playing.

hmmm me likes! and seeing one of the new tauren druid forms in the screenshots, I may finally get back to my druid alt and level it, only for the sheer coolness of the new lion form :D

What's with the old looking ships bearing masts with the symbol for Lordaeron?

Those Lordaeron symbols are red in color so likely those are Scarlett Onslaught ships. Likely they had designs on the area until the Alliance and Horde came and spoiled the party by fighting over the goodies.

As a BG player, I am so excited about this.
I long MUCH more for a new BG than any PVE Raid.
Of course the best BG's are those that simple keep my interest after playing it for a few thousand times.
I still find th best overall AB (with any chararcter) and WSG with rogues. So I want QUALITY instead of just another BG.
At oresent all of the BG have their own unique feeling (OK AV lost a little bit of those epic long fights at the bridge and in the center, but it regained some strategies in other parts).
Only one BG didn't make it for me and that was EoS. No reputation, a cramped beginning and ..."bland". Strand was not really on the same level as the other 3, but I found Wintergrasp epic. Even with the Lag.
The falling of those walls, the rubble, the smoke where you can't see 10 meters in front of you. epic.
I see the new BG goes a little back to the art of AB and the typical camps we saw in old WOW.
Cross my fingers.
Well that motivates me to get that Justicar title for my rogue....
Anyone knows if there ir a reputation atached to his new BG?
