A pink moonkin for the Raid for the Cure raffle

As you can see, she says she used the same pattern as the other plush mookin she made, though of course it's all done up in pink fur from this fabric site. "The horns, beak, claws, and feet," she tells us, "are made of fleece, and inside each leg there is a packet of plastic pellets to give it some additional weight." It's all handsewn, as doing it with a machine is apparently tougher with all of that fur flying. And she says that "the eyes are some pearly buttons I found at the craft store. They just looked neat." Neat indeed; while it's weird to see a pink moonkin, the idea definitely works for the cause. Don't forget -- Raid for the Cure is going down this coming weekend, November 14th, on the Kael'thas realm.

I think a pink moonkin form would be enough to make me play my druid again. There's something about the normal one that I find cuter though (probably the awesome eyebrows).

Serthida, if you see this, is there certain patterns you use to make this or any other stuffed animal? I'm in need of good patterns of animals for my next cosplay and would like your advice!!

http://www.allcrafts.net/sewing/stuffedanimalssewing.htm has some simple patterns for different stuffed animals, there are also lots of books out there with different patterns available. It'd be really easy to take a basic teddy bear pattern and turn it into a feral druid, or a dog and turn it into a felhunter. You can photocopy patterns and then draw on top of them to alter it into another creature, make ears larger, give it wings, etc.
The one for the moonkin model is something I drafted with light cardboard, I just kinda drew the general shapes and prayed that something neat would come out. Once it's all together there was a little more revision that needed to be done (such as tightening the armpit seam, without a few loops of thread in there the moonkin looks even more like a linebacker with huge shoulders).
