Breakfast Topic: A trip to the stylist, part two

Ah, yep. Okay. You guys hate the Goku haircut as much as I do. It's probably the worst one in the game. But hey, we're not here today to decry current hairstyles. Our trip to the stylist today is all about what we'd like to see added instead of removed.
I commented yesterday on the sheer number of awesome hipster haircuts that female goblins are getting, and that's what I want. I want more modern haircuts for all of the races, especially the girls. I think I count three bobs for blood elf females alone! Give 'em an awesome Rock Band-style pixie cut. Give troll females a few haircuts that don't make them look like Bugs Bunny antagonists. Let my night elf male be Morrissey. Let human males have a haircut that doesn't make them look like a member of the Village People (or Fabio). Give tauren females ... I don't even know what. Something.
What do you guys want to see added to the game in terms of hairstyles? Any cuts you can't live without?

Blood elf female with Christina Aguilera blonde with black dirrty hair. I suppose they'll have to change the dance as well though to match :-)

I'd really like to see a fauxhawk for all the elven races. Granted its a pop phenom right now (Thanks David). I also would like some middle length hairstyles. Kinda like a shaggy look. It seems like in the game now either its very short or uber long. Just looking for something middle of the road. I'd be fine with them adding any additional hairstyles because at this point we have some many iterations of the same basic idea anything new would be fresh and welcome. You know, this is something that's irked me for a long time. my dwarf has maybe two hairstyles that are in any way unique. I can have a bald dwarf with a big bushy beard or a dwarf who's hair on the top of his head is similar to a 50's western reject movie... with a big, bushy beard. What i liked about WAR was that it had all types of awesome beards for dwarves. Where's my awesome braided beard with metal piping attached to it? Where's my dwarf beard with little daggers braided into the bottom of it so that when I do whirlwind on my dwarf warrior, i do extra damage or when I hit fan of blades on my dwarf rogue... it looks awesome. Is it too much to ask for some new beards?

Though this falls more under the realm of hair colors than hair styles, but while we're on the topic of hipster haircuts, how about some two-tone hair colors? I'm one of those weird people that likes to fashion my characters at least something like myself in one capacity or another, and given that all of the character models are on steroids and I'm a skinny white boy, that's not exactly easy. My hair is consistently changing but is almost always two-toned, my natural black with whatever random color I happen to throw in it that month. I'd like to be able to subject my character to the same thing.
And hairstyles, I'd like to see some more short/mid-length hairstyles for Human. Nothing special, but when making a Human now, you basically have the choice between bald, cropped short, or long flowing locks. I'd like something in between.

I like the longer hair and braids, idea. I'd love to see that for females of all races, though.
I'd just love more variety, in general. And, btw, I had no clue there were that many cool hairstyles for Goblins. I'm even more excited than I was previously. :D
I'd love to see more modern hairstyles, for all races, as well. And, actually, I'd really like to see more color options. I'd be so happy if they would give us a large palette of colors, that we could mouse over and choose from, rather than limiting us to only a handful of colors.
I'd like to opportunity to pick shades of colors. And, by offering us a palette of colors and shades, the possibilities would feel almost endless.

When we were in Beta, Haerle was taking requests and creating new hairstyles using the model viewer. I tracked down the old thread and found the slideshow that was made. I would love to have some of these available. I play all female dwarves except in the case of my shaman and druid (just waiting for cataclysm to race change the shaman), and there are only about 3 really good haircuts for them. Particularly the casters, because you want them to have long hair so it waves in the wind from their casting :)

every (male) toon i have is bald. its not that i just love baldness, but its the most neutral style available. i guess i wouldn't mind a crew cut of sorts

Oh god I laughed hard. (Though I won't be fully convinced until I see nasty beards, greasy hair, and buffalo plaid on the male goblins)
Wait 'til they throw a tantrum when you remind 'em they're only there because mommy & daddy work for those corps and are paying their rent...er... repair bills. ;)

Comments about Williamsburg on a WoW blog make me a happy girl.
I do love these goblin hairstyles though. I hope they make some of them available for trolls and blood elves.

I know I'm not alone when I say that Dwarves need more beards. Giant, marvelous BEARDS. A beard that'd make an adversary take a step back and weep as the beauty of the beard washes over them, overwhelming them, bathing them in its glory.
