Our podcast returns for another live broadcast tomorrow afternoon at 3:30pm Eastern (over on our Ustream page), and this one's a doozy: Turpster and I will host special guest Alex Albrecht, from TechTV's long-ago program The Screen Savers, and more recently from the popular Diggnation podcast, as well as the WoW video podcast Project Lore. We'll also have French friend of the show Patrick Beja on, and WoW Insider Contributing Editor Michael Sacco (who is represented by a talbuk in the machinima video of our song above, made by very talented fan Jack R.).

So it should be a great time. We'll be chatting about the most popular stories of the past week, including where all the Arena players are, another nice bonus for Alchemists, and what's next for addon developers (and why Blizzard doesn't want them making money in the first place). Hoo boy, what a show at our podcast on Saturday. After one of the craziest starts our show has ever had (BRK's house decided to go a little nuts right before we started), we got as professional as we could and got down to business. After answering emails (including more on why you should listen to your mother), we talked about the addon changes and how they'll affect players and developers, Blizzard's plans for a mobile authenticator, and more of the latest news out of patch 3.1. We also brainstormed new flavors for Mountain Dew, and finally, we played what everyone was waiting to hear: Turpster's new WoW Insider song.

Yes, because our fans were kind enough to get 4,000 people to join in on our Facebook page, we recorded that abomination of hilarity. Gonna be a big show this week on the podcast -- as far as I know (and I could be wrong, but we'll see), the brand new Turpster song is ready to play on the air. Just a reminder -- the WoW Insider Show is not going live on Saturday this week, but will go live this evening at 9pm Eastern over on our Ustream page. Should be a fun episode of the WoW Insider Show this weekend -- and hopefully, Turpster's new song will be ready to play on the air for you all. Though it's not for certain, unfortunately -- I know he was planning a Wham! reunion just for the song, but you know how tough it is to get all the contracts involved on something like that. Anyway, even if the song isn't ready yet, we'll still have a show, and we'll chat about all the most popular posts of the past week, including our new Time is Money column (and how to make the most money ingame), everything we've heard and seen from Ulduar in the past week, and what else is new on the 3.1 PTR. And we've got a special treat for those of you who can't make it to our usual Saturday broadcasts -- next Wednesday, March 11th, we're going to record the podcast at a special time of the week. We'll be starting up on Ustream around 9pm Eastern, which is probably a little late for all of you Europeans, but will hopefully let some people who've never heard the show before tune in (and hopefully we'll catch some WI bloggers who haven't been on the show before as well). This is only a one-time thing for now, so in the future, we'll be on Saturday as usual, but next week we're trying a new time just to see if we can mix things up a little bit.

We had a really fun (and longer than usual) time on the WoW Insider Show this past week -- Turpster and Michael Sacco joined me to talk about all of the patch 3.1 class changes, from Druids to Death Knights, and we answered lots and lots of reader email, including what to do if your guild is too small to raid, whether to go PvP or PvE, and the lore and quests of the current endgame (or lack thereof, as the case may be).

Lots of great chat in there about classes in general -- we were pretty one-topic-minded this week but we basically cover a state-of-the-game of class balance, and talk about what's up and what's down for each class in 3.1. And last but not least, we updated everyone on our big Facebook quest -- we've got over 3600 fans so far, and if we hit 4000, Turpster will premiere a new song on our show. And we had the winner of our Authenticator contest send us pictures of what Turpster sent to him -- find the full versions after the break below (and feel free to color/remix them as you see fit).
