Pros:The location of this place is great. It sits on top of a hill with great views. We caught several sunrise/sets from here and it was outstanding. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cabins themselves (admirals lodge) had enough space for a family with two kids.
Cons:The beds were the most uncomfortable thing that I have slept on in a long time. They put a topper on the mattress, but it did not help at all and we woke up exhausted. We would have been better off in a cot. The TV's in the cabins are extremely small, so bring your glasses. The channels are also extremely limited so maybe just don't watch TV. They charge $5 for a breakfast in the morning, but it is pathetic so do waste your money. Go into town for breakfast as there are plenty of spots to get a decent meal.
Pros:Extremely quiet (unless your in a corporals lodge and then the level of quietness depends on your neighbors staying in the attached Lieutenants Cabin), remote and pleasant area. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast is plentiful and tastes excellent! View from the main lodge of the battlefield is amazing. Close to everything you could need or want in the area, from 5 minutes to he battlefield to 15 minutes to Walmart if you forgot something! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
Cons:No outdoor fireplace, pool or jacuzzi.
