Regarding the installation, Chrome is available for Mac OS X and Linux, as well as Windows — all recent versions. (It no longer supports XP or Vista). And you don’t have to reboot the device after installation.

The browser’s vulnerabilities are just caused by the size of the codebase. Over the years, Chrome has become a huge codebase, as it is one of the most popularly chosen browsers. Then, the larger the codebase is, the greater the vulnerability of the system.

Battery drain

This browser is known to be a battery hog. However, there are some ways to make Chrome less of your battery:

• Closing tabs no longer needed
• Adjusting Chrome’s battery usage settings
• Turning off automatic syncing

In short, although it is not the best for lower power consumption and privacy protection, Google Chrome is a comprehensive and powerful web browser that offers a wealth of features and functionalities to enhance your online experience. This browser continues to innovate, and its speed and standards support keep the browser a good choice.
