As an OTR Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries and adhering to all safety regulations.Responsibilities:Operate and maintain company-owned vehicles, including tractor-trailers equipped with manual transmissions.Transport goods and materials between designated locations, following predetermined routes and schedules.Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safety and functionality of the vehicle and its components.Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and any changes to the schedule.Maintain accurate records of mileage, hours of service, fuel consumption, and other relevant information.Ensure that cargo is properly secured and protected from damage during transit.Handle paperwork, invoices, and documentation associated with each shipment, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.Requirements:Minimum of one year of experience as an OTR Driver.Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.Proficiency in operating vehicles with manual transmissions.Excellent driving skills and a commitment to safety.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and adapt to changing schedules and environments.Must be reliable, punctual, and able to meet deadlines consistently.Must be willing to work as a contractor and accept percentage pay.Must be willing to use a company-provided gas card for fuel expenses.Benefits:Competitive pay structure based on percentage of revenue.Opportunities for flexible scheduling and long-haul routes.Contract work with potential for consistent assignments.Company-provided gas card for fuel expenses.
