These are so comfortable for my son to wear. They are more stylish than competitor brands and are easier to put on. Most importantly, customer service was impressive, prompt and very helpful. I will definitely shop with this company in the future!
My son (age16) is special needs and wears AFO’s. These shoes are the best thing that has happened to those who wear braces. Very easy to get on over the AFO’s. Thank you for making such a great product for those who need it.
My daughter is very set with her old pair of shoes. She doesn't want new shoes very often. I think it was the color she liked that she gave them a try and it didn't take as much convincing as usual. She put them on and I could tell right away she liked how they felt. Now she asks for the silver and pink shoes when we get her dressed! Am very happy with my purchase!
Overall I love these shoes, the zipper is easy to with, they’re wide and easily adjustable, and really light weight. The only negative thing is the last two pairs I ordered, the insole was glued to the bottom of the shoes. In order for them to fit over my sons AFOs I have to take the insole out.
The shoes are too narrow for AFOs. They narrow at the arch, making it impossible to slip the foot/AFO in.
The shoes did feel quality, but had to return them, so uncertain of their durability.
Our daughter has arthrogryposis and wears KAFO’s and these are the best fitting shoes for her. We are working on ordering one of every pair! We have finally found the best shoe:-)
Love them!
I absolutely love these shoes, and my son does as well! They’ve held up so well with his AFOs, and they have such cool designs to choose from compared to other brands. Their customer service is amazing and so friendly, and I have had so many people ask about the shoes when they see them!
I love the shoes but because my daughter needs 2 separate sizes it will be hard to continue to purchase unless you bring back single shoe purchase.
The tenease white mens shoes a little bulky, already wears larger shoe to get over AFO’s. These look so big on his feet. Haven’t worn yet. Prefer heel zip.
I have a 34-year-old child that has had leg braces ( AFO’S) for 33 years of his life and these are seriously the best shoes ever!!! He is legally blind and has cerebral palsy and these are so easy for him to put on by himself and they last longer than the other shoe that we’ve ever bought. I just love them! Highly recommend them! I won’t buy anything else
My daughter wears AFOs so we are in constant search for a pair that work well. These are great! And much more lightweight than her other shoes. She loves them so much and so do we! Very pleased and looking forward to our next pair.
These arrived much sooner than expected and so far, my child loves them! He can get them on and off easily. We have gotten several comments on them from teachers to his PT to his bus driver. We are hoping the zipper design on these last longer than the Billy shoes we tried. The zipper on those broke in less than 2 months. I think having the zipper on one side versus around the whole front of the shoe will help.
I love these shoes for my son he also loves them they r light weight and help him and I be more independent love them so much
We've only had them for a week so we're still getting used to them but the zipper isn't easy to pull up so he still needs assistance with the zipper and the zipper doesn't stay up on either shoe....
These have saved my life. Had pair of regular shoes tried to modify with my afo. Left sores on my feet. Used my BRAND NEW shoes!!!
Holy cow game changer!! Thanks so much for saving my feet !!!!!
My daughter loves them and easy to put on with her brace. Only one negative is the laces are not long enough to use all the holes
Awesome shoes, super lightweight, fits with my son’s AFO on one foot while super comfortable for his other foot. He did note the zipper slides down on the AFO foot but loves them.
They look good and the quality is nice but I'm having trouble getting the zipper to stay up, and they're not very easy to zip up but we'll practice. We just got them yesterday.
My grandson is on the spectrum. I’m learning how to better communicate with him and support his growth. We’re always yapping at him to get his shoes on and let’s get going. I have foot issues myself and was looking at the Friendly site. I thought of our struggle an my ongoing search for comfort. I thought about my grandson and our yapping at hm to get his shoes on and also how-quickly he took them off when he arrived somewhere. I decided to give these adaptive shoes a try. When we got his new adaptive shoes, I thought they may be too different. But, really, they are not. He tried them, showed me he could do it himself and we stopped yapping at him to get his shoes on. He just puts them on, he can do it! a positive thing for him. Just picked him up from a busy day of school. He’s napping on the couch with his shoes on!
