Drag and Drop

Within a graphic user interface, drag and drop is the ability to use your finger, mouse, or similar digital device to move an image, folder, application or text from one part of a digital screen to another. By selecting an object with a finger or mouse, you can then “drag” it to a new location and “drop” it in place, usually by lifting your finger off the mouse or screen. Software that features “drag and drop editing” is generally considered to be easy-to-use and intuitive.
