How does DataParser work?

DataParser is connector software designed to collect data directly from the source APIs, preserving chain of custody and maintaining metadata for legally defensible compliance. The data is then formatted and delivered to a specified destination archive, storage or eDiscovery system.

 

Do I need a server for this service?

No server needed! Let us handle everything for you with DataParser Cloud. Our dedicated DataParser Cloud Support team will monitor your service to ensure uninterrupted processing.  Issues can be resolved immediately with the DataParser Cloud Support Team tracking and resolving your Zoom processing.

Can I run DataParser on demand instead of a schedule?

Yes. With the on-premise version of DataParser you control how and when it is run. If you need to send data to your legal team for particular users or a specific date, simply create a configuration for your use case and pull the data.

How do we get Support for our on-premise version of DataParser?

If you wish to deploy on-premise, our DataParser Support team is available to help during normal business hours.  Open a ticket by emailing supporttickets@17a-4.com or visiting the technical support page here.  Include your daily summary reports from the last run for quicker resolution.

Can I collect files that I’ve shared in Zoom with DataParser?

Yes. DataParser can be configured to collect files from Zoom’s API. You can allow your users to share files on Zoom and use DataParser to collect them and stay in compliance.

If your Zoom doc files get too big or you want to collect Zoom audio and video files as well, DataParser can be configured to send the larger files that are too big for your archive into Azure Blob or AWS S3.

All chat output is threaded for full context and easy review. A Subject line service indicator can be appended or prepended to the output messages to allow for simplified searching in the archive. Message edits and deletes are both captured. Shared files are referenced in the conversation and attached to the message.

DataParser for Zoom

 

DataParser’s Zoom Meeting Services for Government clients provides:

  1. Capture of Zoom meetings including the metadata of participants;
  2. Preservation of the content in Microsoft’s Azure Blob or Amazon’s (AWS) storage;
  3. The ability to send the linked content to a specified email address (i.e. BoardMeetings@community.gov);
  4. An email with a link to the actual recording so that a government employee can easily send to any citizen who wants to view the meeting at a later time;
  5. Retention of the meeting recording customized to the requirements of the government agency.
