The "African Shia Islamic Movement" is a Nigeria-based organization. Sheikh Ibraheem Zakzaky is the leader of the movement. [1] It was founded in the 1980s, after Zakzaky traveled to Iran and was inspired by the 1979 Iranian Revolution.
