Actually, my own AOL profile, and some others with which I was familiar, did transfer over to the site, though the layout was odd: the personal information was in a second "About Me" module that didn't exist on regular Bebo profiles. You're right, however, when you point out that the AOL member-search tools no longer worked with the Bebo profiles.
