Oakville High School was built on the top of a hill. After sinkholes in the school's back lot were fixed, a football field was built on campus. The stadium would later be named "Roger E. Estes Field" after the Athletics Director. The school's colors are black and gold and the school mascot is the Tiger.

This is the school's only state championship in football, but the team has been Class 5A runner-ups twice, in 1994 and 2007.
