Isles is the second studio album by electronic music duo Bicep, released through Ninja Tune on 22 January 2021. It was recorded over a two-year period and preceded by the single "Apricots". [11] The album was nominated for the 2021 Choice Music Prize for Best Irish Album. [12] The album was also considered for the 2021 Northern Ireland Music Prize.
History. Bicep was formed in 2009 as a production and DJing pair in London. The duo, childhood friends, [3] created a blog called "Feel My Bicep", which was used to post lost and forgotten disco, Chicago house, Detroit techno and Italo disco edits. [4] [5]
It was released through independent record label Ninja Tune as the first single from the album on 24 March 2020. A 12-inch vinyl single was released on 3 April 2020. TR/ST (previously known as Trust) is the Canadian electronic music project of Robert Alfons. It was formed as a band in 2010 when Alfons met Maya Postepski of Austra, but Postepski left in 2012. Early life.
