Fritz immigrated with his family to the United States from Luxembourg that same year. He built this chapel as an act of thanksgiving for the safe journey.

Spring Side is a historic residence located just outside of Bellevue, Iowa, United States. The house was influenced by the Gothic Revival "cottage" popularized by A.J. Davis and A.J. Downing. [2] It is sited on a hillside overlooking a valley and the Mississippi River. The property is the source for three springs, hence its name from 1867.
Description. George Dyas House is one of three houses in the Bellevue area that feature elements of the Gothic Revival style; Spring Side and the House at 505 Court Street being the other two. [2] The 2½-story house features coursed cut stone block with dressed stone lintels, a three bay facade on the eave side, and a projecting front gable.
