Kefalonia or Cephalonia ( Greek: Κεφαλονιά ), formerly also known as Kefallinia or Kephallenia ( Κεφαλληνία ), is the largest of the Ionian Islands [2] in western Greece and the 6th largest island in Greece after Crete, Euboea, Lesbos, Rhodes and Chios.
