Marty Hogan. Martin Francis Hogan (October 25, 1869 – August 15, 1923), nicknamed " the Indianapolis Ringer ", was an English born right fielder in Major League Baseball who played for the Cincinnati Reds (1894) and St. Louis Browns (1894–1895). After leaving the National League, Hogan moved on to the minor league Indianapolis Hoosiers.
