Kentucky Route 171 is a 28.302-mile-long (45.548 km) rural secondary highway in northern Todd County and southern Muhlenberg County. The highway begins at KY 106 (Sharon Grove Road) southwest of Claymour. KY 171 heads west along Allegre Road, which intersects KY 181 (Greenville Road) before curving north.
