The hospital moved to its current location at 3800 Reservoir Road NW in Washington, D.C. in 1930. In 1946, the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth took over operation of the hospital. In 1947, the main hospital was built and was the first building erected in what is now the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital complex.
