Abe Reles. Abraham " Kid Twist " Reles ( / ˈrɛlɪs /; May 10, 1906 – November 12, 1941) was a New York Jewish mobster who was a hit man for Murder, Inc., the enforcement contractor for Meyer Lansky's National Crime Syndicate . Reles later turned government witness and sent several members of Murder, Inc. to the electric chair.
By the early 1930s, he was reputed to have killed at least 30 people, mostly in Brooklyn, for a payment of about $500 per murder.
