The Ludlow Garage. The Ludlow Garage began life as an automobile shop and later became a music venue located in the Clifton neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio. The original music venue hosted concerts from September 19, 1969 through January 20, 1971. The original proprietor of the music venue was ex-City Council member and Vice Mayor Jim Tarbell .

Live at Ludlow Garage: 1970 is an album by the Allman Brothers Band. It was recorded live at Ludlow Garage in Cincinnati on April 11, 1970. It was released by Polydor Records on April 20, 1990. The entire recording, including an unreleased rendition of "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", was remastered and released on a 2015 reissue of Idlewild South.

The Maisonette was opened by Nathan L. Comisar in 1949 in the basement space beneath La Normandie, also owned by Comisar, in the Fountain Square Building in Cincinnati. Comisar named the restaurant after a club by the same name in the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. In 1964 it was awarded its first Mobil 5-star award.
