In 2008, Crossway published the ESV Study Bible, which would go on to sell more than 1 million copies. In 2009, the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association named the ESV Study Bible as Christian Book of the Year. This was the first time in the award's 30-year history to be given to a study Bible.
