Biography. Brisbane was born in Buffalo, New York, to Albert Brisbane (1809-1890), an American utopian socialist who is remembered as the chief popularizer of the theories of Charles Fourier in the United States. Albert was the author of several books, including Social Destiny of Man (1840), as well as the Fourierist periodical The Phalanx.

It sits within the grounds of St John's Cathedral, Brisbane. It was designed by Robin Dods and built in 1909. It was added to the Queensland Heritage Register on 21 October 1992.
Destiny New Zealand was a Christian political party in New Zealand centred on the charismatic / pentecostal Destiny Church. The party described itself as "centre-right".
