It was released on November 30, 2022, through Republic Records and 1801 as the lead single from her second studio album, Coi (2023). The NHL used the song to promote the 2009 NHL Winter Classic between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings taking place at Wrigley Field on New Year's Day, 2009.
