Tyrus Wong (1910-2016), who emigrated to the US from China, is considered to be one of the influential artists of the 20th century. He was a muralist for the Works Progress Administration . As well as having been a production illustrator for films such as Bambi (1942), some of his paintings are now or have been exhibited in art museums.
