La Linea. (TV series) La Linea ("The Line") is an Italian animated series created by the Italian cartoonist Osvaldo Cavandoli. The series consists of 90 episodes, which were originally broadcast on the Italian channel RAI between 1971 and 1986. The background tune for the series was created by Franco Godi. [1]

Many American children were introduced to "La Linea" in the early to mid-1980s when clips of the cartoons were shown, seemingly uncredited, on the television program "The Great Space Coaster." Roy (Ray Stevens) would often take out a small, hand-held device and show the clips to Goriddle Gorilla.
