Chandan Kumar Kushwaha [1] is an IPS officer, serving in Bihar. He has previously served as Superintendent of Police (SP) for Bihar's capital city Patna. [2] Kushwaha was later transferred to Banka district as Superintendent of Police. [3] [4] Before being appointed as city SP of Patna, he was serving as SP for the Rohtas district.

Editions in various languages including Gujarati and English have been published out of Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and Pune so far. In 2011, the Delhi and Bangalore editions were closed down. In 2014, Jagran Prakashan shut down the midday Pune edition as well.
