Claremont ( / ˈklɛərmɒnt /) is a suburban city in Los Angeles County, California, United States, 30 miles (48 km) east of Los Angeles. It lies in the eastern portion of the county, in Pomona Valley, at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains.
